Quality Assurance Lead

What should I be able to do?

•Supervise the technical process of the current project and be able to report back on it's progress fully.
•Strive and work towards ways to improve the technical side to your project, and always try to achieve the highest standard for each project.
•Co-ordinate team members by considering project management, task prioritisation and risk assesment.
•Give detailed, analytical reports on faults found within the games tested.

What skills should I have?

•Good Understanding of Programming and Programming Languages, Bug Tracking Software and a high technical understanding of Game Elements.
•Logic, Patience, Technique, Passion, Foresight, Diplomacy, Organised, Time Management Skills, Well under Pressure, Good with Computers and Troubleshooting, Analytical
•Verbal and Written Communication skills.

What qualifications should I have?

•ISEB Foundation Course in Software Testing is Desireable.
•Bachelors Degree in Computing or related field.
•Considerable experience in the industry (usually 3 years plus).

What are my Roles and Responsibilities?

•Consult with managers and clients about projects.
•To motivate the QA Engineers and ensure they're working to the best of their abilities.
•Develop and maintain the schedule of the project and ensure that it runs dilligently and on budget.
•Monitor the technicalities of the game, making sure it runs as smoothly as possible.
•Indentify, track and manage technical risks.
