What should I be able to do?
•Work effectively with other members of the studio including the artists and programmers, in order to effectively co-ordinate your music and effects with the gameplay.
•Be able to effectively plan out and develop appropriate sound effects and music that fit into the given project in a life-like and well integrated manner.
•Use your own imagination and initiative to highten and enhance the players experience.
What skills should I have?
•Extensive understanding of the "Tools of the Trade" including Mixing and Recording Software, aswell
•Creative, Intuative, Musical, Thoughtful, Passionate, Organised, Imaginative
•A good understanding of Composing, Scoring and Recording Music, in order to produce a well thought out and well planned soundtrack to coincide with gameplay.
What qualifications should I have?
•Bachelors Degree in a preferably a relevant Music Qualification.
•Considerable experience in the Music Industry.
•An extensive porfolio including various Sounds, Effects and Recordings you've created.
•A reasonable understanding of Recording and Mixing Softwares.
What are my Roles and Responsibilities?
•Produce an immersive and original soundtrack, that improves the gameplay for the user, understanding that Audio Enhancements can change the tempo, feeling and aura of the gameplay.
•Determine the best way to achieve the desired audio outcome, considering software and mediums (instrumental, synth, vocal) etc.
•Professionally and diligently arranged the required resources including Casting for Voicing, Orchestral Accompanyments etc.
